PROFILE

I have been involved in the automobile business since 1972. My family owned and operated a successful General Motors franchise from 1963 until 1995. My work experience over these 24 years included managing the New, Used and Leasing Sales Departments of the dealership.

Following the sale of the dealership, I opened my own auto leasing company, Crockett Automotive Leasing Limited. Vehicle leasing allowed me the opportunity to handle every make and model of vehicle in the market place. I enjoyed the fact I could look after any customer's needs by having access to all of the products.

As Manufacturers became more aggressive with their leasing programs, offering lower interest rates, high residual values and other incentive programs, the independent leasing companies, like mine, were becoming less competitive.

In order to continue to offer the best pricing and personal service to my customers, I began to “Broker” many of my auto deals through my extensive dealer network. Brokering now allows me the opportunity to offer purchasing options to my customers, not just leasing options.

The success of my brokering business has now led to the development of Roly Crockett's “Auto Source” to better represent my functions as an auto broker.

My goal is to help customers make well informed and educated decisions about purchasing or leasing any model of car or truck.

I am a graduate of Northwood University in Midland Michigan with an Automotive Marketing degree.
